A possible 3rd?

I've been a busy lady this week. Honest. That's my story (for not posting) and I'm sticking to it.

Besides being busy, what's been on my mind this week??

A nose piercing.

I know, a bit random, but it's true. Here's why:

The Beginning: I don't think I've ever been the rebellious type (maybe I forget, perhaps ask my mom). In high school, I was pretty much a goody-goody. I usually came home before curfew, I was always too afraid to sluff (even seminary), and I made my bed without being asked (this, too, you might need to ask mom). Heck, I even toliet papered MY OWN HOUSE just to say I'd TPd someone before. You get the picture. I was, and still am, a good girl. I don't like being in trouble, I don't like confrontation. I generally follow rules when given and go out of my way to stay out of the way of trouble.

The Middle: We went grocery shopping a few nights ago-- a task I normally loath because Ben takes way too much time figuring the "best deal." Two hours and $160 later, we're leaving the store and I spot this woman, probably about my age, with a huge smile on her face, wearing a bright red sweater, hair up in a funky ponytail and a teeny-tiny diamond stud in her nose. I couldn't help but be jealous of that tiny sliver of cubic zarconia. I stared and stared and that woman and thought to myself, Wow! I want one! Never before in my life have I wanted t a 3rd piercing. The pain of the first two was enough for me. For some reason, however, her nose piercing became the object of my affection for the last four days.

The End: (This is where you want me to tell you if I did or did not get my nose pierced--the piercing could then become the one crazy thing I've done. It's also the point where my mom and close friends are clenching fists at the outcome. It might also be the point in my story where some readers may wonder, no big deal, a nose piercing is fine.
Well, today, it's the part in my story where I say, "Come back tomorrow for the conclusion. I want to keep you waiting, to build the suspense." You all may be very, very surprised.
