I couldn't be happier about it being (finally) Friday! Friday's are good days for many reasons. One, school is only in until 12:40, so I get to leave early. Two, it means Saturday is tomorrow and I am able to sleep in (it's just the fact whether I can or not).
Today was especially good. I had five wonderful 7th grade English classes (considering the school and local, that was pretty amazing). I was able to teach: about prefix and suffix words, nonetheless. A darling little black girl, who apparently relocated to Utah from Louisanna after the hurricane, told me (and all her darling little friends) that I was pretty and made it a point to tell me that, heavens no, Mrs. H, you don't look any older than some kids in this class when she found out my real age.
Another good thing about today: my workout. I've been doing so good with my commitment to go to the gym and today I had an exceptionally exhillarating 10 mile ride on the stationary bike. I rode along with the help from my iPod and people watching habit. It was great.
Now I am at home eating some noodles and admiring my clean appartment that my sweetie and I have managed to keep clean most of the week. Nothing but relaxation and reading on my agenda today. I'm currently reading the Plath classic, The Bell Jar, and I couldn't be more into it. I'm still trying to figure it out (my favorite reading game), but am trying to enjoy it for the astounding literature that it is.
Happy Friday to my readers....all two of them.
