boondocks

I was invited by my friend and Primary Secretary, Tara, to her work party at Boondocks last night. She works for a law firm and since her husband had a dress rehearsal for a play and couldn't go, she asked me to come. We had a blast!

We were given a great dinner, a free waterbottle, and 10 tokens for games, as well as an unlimited pass for all of the stuff there.

After dinner, we played mini-golf, at which I royally sucked (Tara won by 3!) and then we went on the water ride where you can spray others with a little water gun. I totally soaked Tara and her little gun went right over my head!

We then went on the go-karts. I think I was the slowest one, but it was still fun. Then we went inside to play some games. I won 35 tickets and got some prizes for Ben: a bouncy ball, Chineese Finger trap, and a rubber ring that says "PHAT" on it (that one was for me...lol)

We went on the water ride one more time and both of us got soaked and cold! We drove home soaking wet. We had a really fun time. Tara and I have a ton in common; we both majored in English, we both took ballet for ever (we actually realized we were in the Nutcracker together a few years as soldiers), we're professed book nerds, we love musicals, etc. I'm glad I was able to go!!
