zeus man

Last night while I was reading, Zeus hopped into bed with me, literally. He wedged his way under the covers, snuggled up to the pillow and me, and promptly began snoring. I called Ben in to see and had him snap a picture. This dog has started to grow on me, mostly because he's slowly growing out of the annoying puppy stage (however, he still has his moments).

Ben and I wish sometimes Zeus would speak to us because he looks so thoughtful at times. Sometimes, either Ben or I will imitate what we think he'd say, such as, "I wish you guys would let me on the couch at least one more time!" (We're training him to not get on the couch but to sit on a blanket on the floor). Or, "I suppose you'd want to share that big steak with me, huh?" He's not much for his own dog food, but we don't let him eat people food so if he's desperate, he'll eat his little bits.

PS: congratulations to my friend, Sadie, and her husband, CJ...they welcomed their baby girl last night at 10:15. She was 7lbs, 201/2 inches and both mommy and baby are doing great. She still doesn't have a name, but might I suggest, Sadie, Lauren is a great name! Love you!!!
