day camp

I'm still alive, just checking in.

Today I spent the day up Millcreek Canyon with all the little Primary girls from my ward for a day camp. I go again tomorrow. It's the same camp that the cubs go to, but the girls have such a blast doing crafts, games, relay races, and watching skits. Seeing as I am one of the only Primary leaders sans job and kids, I get to drive and be the responsible permission-slip-holding leader (which kinda scared me today).

Today's theme was Superheros--which was super fun!--and we got to visit stations such as: "Utility Belts," "The Bat Cave," "Batmobile Racing," "Strength Training," and "The Daily Planet." In between all sessions, they played different superhero theme songs; it was great.

Tomorrow's theme is Jurassic Journey. Should be loads of fun. Except I'm covered in mosquito bites and I came home SO dirty...and I'm tired!!

And, well, that's about it. :)

...I did that a couple of times with Scouts when Zach was that age and it was too much like camping for me :) I also remember being really dirty when I got home.

Have a great day

I went on a hike on Saturday in Milcreek. It was pretty difficult. And I passed all the cute little scout camps on the way up. I was also very dirty when I came home. And very tired . . .
