I'm fortunate enough to have a dad who works for an online shoe company. He gets a really great discount. And the fact that I love shoes so much makes this a very, very good thing.
Before school started, dad e-mailed me and told me to pick out a pair of shoes for school and that he'd buy them for me. I spent probably way too long hemming and hawing about which shoes to finally choose. I knew they were for school so I didn't want high platform shoes, but I also didn't want something so weird and outrageous that I could only wear with one or two outfits.
I finally decided on a pair of Simple shoes. Simple makes great, comfortable shoes and it had been a while since I owned a pair. I got the shoes in the mail a few days before school started and I am SO happy that I chose these shoes!
They are GREEN. Not in color but in materials used to make them. They are made of hemp, bamboo, cardboard, tire, and organic cotton. They are comfortable and I could pretty much wear them every day!
