when wiffey's gone, hubby puts in a lawn

First things first: I un-privated my blog. The reason? I was having major issues, others were having issues, and I suppose I'll just let whomever check out updates on my life as they please.

Second thing: The second week of school started today and is so far so good. I'm really enjoying my darlings this year and am enjoying having my own room even more. There shall be more and better updates about school eventually.

Third thing: This past weekend was Labor Day. I had a fun opportunity to go camping to Mirror Lake with my lovely mom and her friends. Unfortunately, Ben had to say home to work, but I had a good, relaxing time. We were originally going to stay until Monday, but when we woke up to rain and COLD temps on Sunday, we broke camp and made it home by 12. While there we walked around the beautiful lake, relaxed and watched the little kids play. Here are a few pictures.

This is Bald Mountain reflecting on the lake, hence the name "Mirror Lake"

Taken while we walked around the lake.

Me and the cute kids who went with us. We're inside a fake tree stump and my head is poking out of the right side.

This is kind of what it looked like on Sunday morning, but you just can't see the vasts amount of rain falling in front!!

And now, to the title of today's post. While I was away for a few days, my wonderful hubby put in a new front lawn, with the help of dad Hubert and a friend. I've been trying to locate the pictures of the lawn before but have yet to be successful in this endeavor. However, I just took a few pictures of what my front lawn now looks like and it is marvelous:
I was SO ecstatic when I drove up on Sunday. The best part was when both Ben and I walked around BAREFOOT for a few minutes, something I've wanted to do for a while. I love, love, love it!
