My 6th period students--some of them--call me H-Slice. It doesn't bother me and I think it shows how silly and fun teenagers can be. (And, it could be worse!) Anyway, they have now started calling the baby "Baby H-Slice." We had a doctor's appointment today and here's the latest on Baby H-Slice (and Mrs. H-Slice, too, I suppose):
*Mrs. H-Slice has officially gained 4 pounds since becoming pregnant. I was dissapointed last time when it was just ounces, and surprisingly feel pretty happy about 4 pounds.
*Baby H-slice's heartbeat was "perfect" (a quote from my doc) at 137bpm.
And that's all. Again, another boring appointment, but we like it that way. My next appointment in 4 weeks will be the diabetes test.
In other baby news: We finally bought our first box of diapers. The baby may not have a bed to sleep in or clothes to wear, but there are now diapers!

Don't buy too many newborn size diapers. That baby will grow quicker than you think!
Rachel is right. Liam still has tons of newborn diapers that he grew out of before he got the chance to use. So actually, don't buy any more newborn diapers at all! I'll give you my leftovers! haha. He's almost out of size 1's also, so I'll give you lots of those too.
Hooray for a boring appointment :) and for 4 pounds!
