boring boring boring

Well, at last, we made it through another week. Next week will be my 6th week as a student teacher and it seems to be flying by.

I've been waiting to get home all day so I could post, thinking I had some sort of funny rant to write about. But, now that I'm home, eating an after school snack (today's snack: pumpkin pie), I can't seem to think of one darn thing to discuss. I am ill from writing soo much about my students and after this week, I need a break from my little darlings.

Since I'm stretching my mind for ANYTHING to write about (which usually doesn't happen) I will leave you with a joke I read the other day. I signed up to get Education/Teacher newsletters and one of the sections is a joke section. This particular joke comes from an Arts teacher who tells his students this joke every year and they all laugh. I hope it has the same affect on you.

Recently, a burglar nearly got away with stealing several paintings from the world-famous Louvre art museum in Paris. However, after planning the crime, getting past heavy security on the way in, stealing several priceless works of art, and again sneaking past security on the way out, he was captured only a mile away when his van ran out of gas. When asked how he could be such a brilliant criminal and then make such an obvious blunder, he replied, "I had no Monet to buy Degas to make the Van Gogh."

HAHAHA. Anyway, it's nap time for Lauren. Hope you all have a delightful weekend. If anything exciting happens, I'll let you know.

Love you all.
