Hair's the thing

I change my look over the Spring Break.

I cut and got some lighter color put into my hair.

I love it.

And apparently so do my 8th graders.

Between each class, I wait at the door for my students to come in. Today, the first day back from spring break, a good majority (most) of my students made a comment about my hair; something like, " I love your hair, Mrs. Hubert!", or "You're hair looks so cute!" , or "Did you do something to your hair."

I found that I had to begin each class by saying, "Yes, it's true, Mrs. Hubert cut and dyed her hair over the break" just so I didn't have students raising their hands in the middle of my lesson to ask "did you get your hair cut?"

I became the coolest person in the world for this change of cut and color.

It felt so rad.
