after five years, who cares?

Happy Friday!

I figured it was about time to update my blog-I admit I have no better excuse than I was lazy.

It's been an eventful week and it looks like the eventfulness will continue on into the weekend. You may think I'm excited about the weekends' "events" but, really, I'm not.

Tomorrow is our 5 year High School Reunion. (Hence, the green font: Go Huskies!)

Ugh.

Most of you know that my hubby (with a freshly shaven face, YES!) and I graduated from the same school the same year. This means that we both received invites to this oh-so-joyous event. Conversely, we had entirely different reactions to such invite.

Upon receiving the invite:

Ben: "Oh, yeah, this will be fun, Fun, FUN! We'll get to see all those awesome people we went to school with and show them all that we've accomplished. I'll pay the money and RSVP ASAP and we'll be the first to arrive! I can't wait for people to see who I married!"

Lauren: "Oh, geeze, give me a break. Why would I want to see those weirdos I went to school with, especially when they'll pretend they still like me when, I know for a fact, that they didn't even know my name. And, we'll have to put up with those cliques and having people come up to us and converse sweetly about ALL they've accomplished."

I suppose it will be fun to see some old friends, but really, I'm way over high school and wish I never see most of 600+ people in my graduating class.

But it's too late to cancel; with the $15 for classmates, we've put too much into this to back out now.

Wish me luck.

Once again, UGH!!!
