A few things I've noticed lately that I really don't understand: (in other words, things I think are pretty stupid despite obvious societal infatuation)
1. A wired substitution of "s" with a "z," az in dogz, which I see in other formz (i.e dawgs, dawgz). Perhapz it's the English-teacher-grammatic freak in me, but it drivez me quite bonkerz and every time I see the "s" wannabe "z," I get the shakez, my eyez bulge out (az if they could be any bigger) and I throw up in my mouth a little bit.
2. The really obnoxious tennis shoes kids wear with the teeny wheels on the bottom. Come one now, really, why are these shoes necessary? Let me tell you why: Apparently these kids just love rolling to and fro on their heels in hot pursuit of mere nothingness. They don't mind running into the old blue-haird grandma walking down the street with her groceries; they don't worry about the annoying sound the wheels make, especially on the pavement. I just don't understand.
3. Boots over jeans. Call me unfashionable, call me wack, but I think it not only looks silly but the thought of it make me feel like it would feel incredibly silly. I have an issue with the bottom of my pants being tucked behind the tongue of my sneakers on accident, let alone pulling up a ginormous boot. It sort of reminds me of the time when it was cool to wear your jeans pegged and tucked into the layer of multi-colored socks. One word: Bleh.
4. UNAN1MOUS, the new reality tv show (that I will NOT be watching) where a group of goons walk into a house expecting to pick one lucky person to take home gobs and gobs of money, when in reality, every minute they spend fighting over the dough-deserver, the amount of cash dwindles. I think it's a pretty lame idea, but again, call me crazy. We'll just see how insanely popular the show gets and then I suppose I may be regretting my distaste in judgment.
I'm no expert on anything (except maybe myself), but I do have opinions.
Thanks for stopping by to revel in my challenge to understand some things.
