So, I guess you could say my blog has been neglected lately.
When I was younger, about when I was in high school and it was just me and mom at home, mom used to work a bunch and when she'd come home say, "How's my poor neglected daughter?"
Of course, I never felt neglected because I usually could fend for myself and I enjoyed being alone.
However, my poor neglected blog is suffering. The effects of its suffering reaches far beyond just A Wife's Tale--it is affecting all the readers (really, all two), and also affecting me, as this is my current method of writing and expressing creativity.
So, sorry, dear blog, and sorry, dear readers. I promise I'll do better.
Here's a synopsis (my favorite "big" word) of my life:
I'm currenly employed. I work at Barnes and Noble. I'm a bookseller. Well, actualy, I work in the cafe making Venti Caramel Macchiatto's and Grande Cafe Latee Mocha and the likes. Considering I've never had any of the above or any cafe drinks, I'm doing fairly well getting the hang of all these "creations," as they call them. Hopefully soon I'll be on the book floor selling.
I got a teaching job!!! Yup. A real one this year, not a sub job. I had an interview last Thursday at 11 and two hours later, they called back offering me the position. I will be teaching 8th grade English and will be the school newspaper and yearbook advisor. Wahoo! I am still waiting for Ben to wake me up and tell me it was all just a dream.
No other news except that I'm really happy today because I cleaned my house and it smells wonderful and looks like an excerpt from Pottery Barn Magazine. HAHA. Well, maybe not quite, but it looks pretty good!!!
And lastly, here's a joke that I heard on the new movie, A Prarie Home Companion (this joke in particular is a little odd): When God created woman, He initially gave her three boobs. After a time, He decided the third/middle boob was useless for woman...so He created MAN!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
