I realize it has been nearly a month since I last posted. I also realize that, according to my last post, I was supposed to report back on my visit to "Fish and Gifts." Well, sadly, I haven't yet made it over to the oddly named store and I can't tell you if or when I'll make it.

Yesterday as I was driving about, I passed a street named Smiley Avenue. I began thinking about it and came to the conclusion that when I grow up, I'd love to live on Smiley Avenue.

How could you live on Smiley Avenue and be mad or depressed? I don't know how one could drive down Smiley Avenue and frown. Coming home from a bad day at the office would be made all better when you turned down Smiley Avenue.

I envisioned having this avenue decorated with smiley balloons and crepe paper. Everyday would be one big Smiley Avenue party. Kids would wear little yellow smiley face stickers on their popsicle stained shirts and grownups would drink lemonade out of plastic tumblers.

Yes, when I grow up, I think I'd really like to live on Smiley Avenue.

It's much better than the streets in Sandy named after Elements on the Periodic Table. Chlorine Street wouldn't hold a thing to the party on Smiley Avenue!!!
