nunya...

It's a Blue Moon! Yay. Love it.

It's officially the last day of June. Sniff. I love this month. My birth month, first month of summer, kick-off to BBQ season, and more. But, as I said, it's a blue moon and I have the perfect view from my office window...

Today was our first Primary Activity Day. It was splendid! We had a grand total of 25 turn out, which is more than we originally thought would come. We all drove up to SLC to the Church Museum to look at the children's "I am a Child of God" exhibit. The kids really had a great time and I think the adults did, too. We went back to the church after and ate Creamie popsicles. It was a success!!

Last night I attended a wonderful production of Les Miserables with my mom and grandma at the PTC in SLC. It was fantastic! I practically grew up listening to the music of Les Mis, heck, I used to choreograph my own dances to these songs. I saw the play many years ago but I don't think I truly understood the story until last night. I believe that the story of Les Mis is a much more profound and intriguing story than the often more popular Phantom. I bawled through the whole second half...poor Ephonine, poor 'school boys,' poor Javert (ha). I feel it was a story of service and love...."to love another person is to see the face of God." Magnificent.

And now, to relieve something that's been nagging at me for a while.....
After almost 3 1/2 years of marriage, Ben and I are starting to get the "So, when are you going to have kids?" question thrown in our face. Up until now it didn't really bother me, but it's starting to be a little annoying. The title of my post tonight "nunya..." is a phrase one of my roommates used to always say, as in, "none of your..." So, in other words, "nunya business..." What if we've tried having kids and couldn't? What if we want to wait another year? Is it really a matter that concerns anyone besides us? Didn't think so. I promise, we'll have them when the Lord says we're ready. There. I said it. Nunya.

Amen sister! We have been getting those same nagging questions. 4 1/2 years are too long to be married with no kids......blah blah blah.
I agree with you!
Hope to see you guys soon.

I hope I didn't upset you when I asked you that question when you were here. I think it's ALL your decision as to when the time is right. I think too often it becomes a way to get people off your back.
Besides that, I am not sure Cassidy could stand the attention or competition from another grandchild :)
