I heard from a teacher last year that when you start having nighmares about school on your summer vacation it means it's time to start thinking about the upcoming school year.
My nightmares have started.
I've been having odd dreams about my 2nd year of teaching. Random things, like not being able to find my classroom. (Ironically, I had the same dream last year about one week before school started). Another one I've had recently was about a problem student of last year being in my class again this year, only this time there were about 40 of him in my class.
Last night, my dream entailed not being able to reach the mail in my mailbox at school because they put it at the very top of the shelf. I was standing around waiting for a tall teacher to come get my mail for me. Ugh.
I've started thinking about school and it's kind of stressing me out. I have done a few things lesson plan-wise, but my nerves are getting the best of me. I figure I need to do something today to distance myself from thinking about school.
My life is pretty boring these days, not too much going on. Plus, I haven't been in the mood to write. Plus, my computer crashed and we had to reload everything on it. Plus, the people that usually read my blog (dad) know what's happened lately because what I've been doing involves them.
Maybe I'll be more creative tomorrow.
