one hour and twenty minute photo

My mom and I decided to have a big scrapbook marathon yesterday. I had to print pictures because all of my pictures have been stuck on my computer for a few years. I decided I'd take my memory card to Walgreens, where I've done pictures in one hour before.

I submitted the pictures and noted the sign that said: "Digital orders over 200 prints will not be done in one hour." To me, this meant that every other digital order would be done in an hour, so I left and came back in one hour.

The lady then proceeded to tell me that no digital prints are done in one hour and that my pictures wouldn't be done until 10 that night. Bleh.

I was frustrated times 10.

So I drove to WalMart and discussed with the guy behind the picture counter about the one hour photo stuff and he assured me that my pictures would be done in one hour. I submited my pictures off the memory stick, walked around for a bit, then went to another store for the rest of the hour.

When I got back, exactly one hour and five minutes later, the lady says that my pictures won't be done for another 30 minutes. WHAT?!?!?!? Argh.

So I waited 30 minutes more and finally got my pictures. And I didn't get to my moms until about 2:30, about 2 hours later than I had planned.

The good thing is that the pictures I printed looked great and I was able to get 10 pages done, which is a lot considering the last thing I scrap booked was my wedding pictures.

After scrapbooking, we went to our favorite Mexican plan, La Cocina, and then to Dairy Queen, where I got a HUGE medium brown topper. Yum. A great summer Saturday!! Thanks mom.
