a tiny crush...

I'm in the full Harry Potter Swing of things. Last week I made it a goal to finish all of the 6 books, watch all 4 movies...all before the 6th movie releases this week and the 7th, and final, book comes out later this month. Currently I'm in the middle of book the 4th and just finished watching the 2nd movie. Wowsers.

And, I've fallen in love with Rupert Grint, the fellow who plays Ron Weasley. I have a tiny crush. That's all I'm gonna say.

Anywho...I went swimming this morning with Cassidy and grandma Ella at the pool. It was a blast. I was Cassidy's ship and she was "Captian Girl Cassidy." We played hard and I got a great tan, but when I came home, I fell right to sleep! I think may have gotten "sun poisoning" if that's possible; my head fills full of water, I can't get the smell of chlorine out of my nose, and my head just pounds when I move. I'm gonna play 'low-key' for the rest of the night and pray I feel better in the morning.

We had several dinner appointments yesterday. First, we had a full course meal at the parents Hubert's home...family night with all the Hubert's included...and then drove up to Zach and Hilary's for desert in celebration of mom's birthday, which was Thursday...after which, we drove to Ben's grandparent Witt's home for yet even more desert and snacks. I shouldn't have been hungry at all today, but indeed I've eaten plenty.

What's up for me this week: I've got to start thinking about working on my journalism/media productions curriculum for next year. I was hoping I could wait a while longer, but I'm feeling the itch to get it started and organized. Wednesday we'll be attending a showing of the new Harry Potter movie (yay!). Friday and Saturday I'm taking some of my primary boys (the webloes) up to day camp. It should be fun...I guess.

Speaking of movies---last week Ben and I saw Transformers twice. It was, surprisingly, one of the greatest movies I've seen in a while. I loved it! We saw it the day it came out and then his dad invited us again later that evening. With the exception of the drunkards sitting in front of us the 2nd time, it was just as good! I recommend it!

Did you read where JK Rowling says now that this book MAY not be the last one? http://www.cnn.com/2007/SHOWBIZ/Movies/07/09/potter.rowling.reut/index.html

I've still not read any of them...I have seen a couple of movies but never am sure what's going on.

I thought about going to see Transformers but of course didn't--it's too damn hot to spend much time outside. Did you see Letterman tonight? He was talking about it with Paul and he had a clip of the movie--showed part of it and then the rest of it was from the 60's move, Herbie the Love Bug, showing Herbie split in middle. It was too funny.
